Amanda Raddatz

Amanda Raddatz serves as the Director of Carbon Transport and Storage in the Department of Energy’s Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management. An oil and gas geologist by background, Amanda’s experience includes roles in scientific evaluation, development, business planning and implementation of energy and environmental projects. She has contributed to carbon management activities on five continents during the past 10 years, including, site characterization, Class VI permitting, monitoring plans, transport planning, and risk management. In her current role, Amanda leads a team of geologists and engineers responsible for DOE’s portfolio of Carbon Transport and Storage research, development, and demonstration projects, working closely with industry, government agencies, and national labs.
